The 500 Internal Server Error is a very general HTTP status code that means something has gone wrong on the website’s server, but the server could not be more specific on what the exact problem is.
The sample data is already added in the theme. Once you install and activate the theme just go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Here you click restore default button at the bottom.
Then Go to Settings >> Readings >> Here you can select latest post option to display homepage sections.

The gallery images will be displayed where you will add shortcode. We cannot display the separate images in homepage.
Yes go to Appearance >> menu >> Create menu name “footer pages” and add some pages then go to Appearance >> widget >> Select footer widget and add custom menu and select “footer pages” from dropdown.
