The featured image of pages cannot be directly positioned since it covers the whole area.
You can add the featured image on each pages by go to Pages >> Select page >> Add featured image. Once you select the image there will be a crop image option available at media.
Do not remove the #. But if it still not centering then we need to check the css comes with the video tag.
Try to add this css to css file.
