In the section 3 there has only shortcode. You need to add photos in the gallery custom post types just like you add blog posts.
You need to go to gallery and add photos.

The settings you want is available in pro version. In the pro version you need to make few changes again like slider setting, colors etc but all the pages and posts are remain same.
