PhotoLite Pro no homepage slider

Hello, I just purchased the PHotoLite Pro theme and installing it locally (localhost) but I cannot get the homepage slider to function. It only works when I click the left or right arrow on the screen. Even with the theme installed as per demo, no change in the header images on the homepage. Even tried to set the homepage as a static page makes no difference.
In the settings, there is no ON/OFF setting but also, no custom slider code.
Am I missig something here? Maybe a shortcode for the “Custom Slider Shortcode Area For Home Page” field in the settings?
