How to remove date from search results

Date published is showing on Google search results for product pages. Using WooCommerce & Yoast. Yoast says I need to edit something in php to filter out published & updated dates? I’m not a dev guy. I’m on Greenhouse Pro theme.

Any help is appreciated.

I found a simple plugin that hides the date from showing on the front end but I have products published last year that get horrible click thru rates.

Searching for a way to bulk update published date on products but no luck so far. Researching a new schema markup that could exclude date for products but no luck there either.

It is upto the SEO yoast plugin that how it display the meta description in search. We are not sure about this. Please try to contact seo yoast plugin developer about this issue. Hope they can help you.

Thank you for the info. Yoast says the premium version $89 can remove date from products but not the free one I’m using. Was hoping for a way to edit the ‘date published’ from the php file. I think I found a work-around with a schema plugin.
