Cardio theme – Latest Posts issue

Hi,

I have your Cardio theme installed and it has been working fine for a while. Today, I wrote a new blog post but when it was published, two problems occurred:
1) In the “Latest Posts” homepage section, I am seeing the full text of the blogpost, not just the normal excert. I am using the standard [latest-news showposts=”3″ date=”show” author=”show”] format as per your Cardio documentation
2) In the footer I am also seeing the full text of the blog instead of an excerpt.

Can you please advise why this is happening and recommend a fix?
