Sections

Hello!

I have finished my website now & it’s up and running but I didn’t use the sections part under Appearance and was wondering what it is for? Is it only for the homepage? I was wondering if there is a way to add for example Section 2 to my music page and my children’s page so I only have to edit it in one place?
