I just posted something to my blog: http://stellarnourishment.com/going-nuts-about-nuts My Blog Post. I turned off commenting but it still allows users to comment. Additionally, the link to that post appears on the bottom of http://stellarnourishment.com My Homepage too.

Since the blog post is on another site altogether, how can I accomplish the following?
    1. I want the preview on the actual blog post to show up on my homepage.
    2. I want to turn off commenting so that it doesn’t appear on my blog page.
    3. I want the preview on my homepage to redirect right to the other site instead of to my own site, since that is an extra, unnecessary click.

How do I go about setting that up?

    Hi

    1. I want the preview on the actual blog post to show up on my homepage. – where exactly would you like to display the blog on homepage?
    2. I want to turn off commenting so that it doesn’t appear on my blog page. Done
    3. I want the preview on my homepage to redirect right to the other site instead of to my own site, since that is an extra, unnecessary click. – Do you want the blog to open in new tab?

    Thank You

    1. I want the blog post preview to show in the footer, where there’s currently a link to my blog articles. It can contain everything from the blog page, in this case “Stop going nuts about nuts! Check out my latest blog to learn how to reap the most benefits from nuts. Simply click here to read the full article on Elephant Journal.”
    2. Great, although I see my slider on the blog page now 🙁
    3. I do want the blog post to open in a new tab.

    Thanks!

Thanks! Lastly, how do I remove the date from the preview in the footer? It’s okay if it’s on the blog page: https://stellarnourishment.com/going-nuts-about-nuts but I’d rather not have that show up in the footer.

Thanks! Will that ensure it stays off when I create other posts? That’s my intention.
