In the nightspot documentation, it gives the directions: “For setting up Welcome Section Go to >> Appearance >> Theme Options >> Sections >> Section 1.” it then tells you to add their content into the “sections content area”. However, when I go to Theme Options >> Sections >> Section 1, I am only given the option to change Section Container Class, Animation Type, Section Sub Title, and Section Text. Section Text changes the text above the cards, not the cards themselves. I tried changing the html code in the theme editor for this section but it does not change the live site so I’m assuming my changes are being overwritten somewhere else. My question is how to directly edit the cards? I can’t find where to do this. Thanks a ton.
Also worth noting, in the screenshot in the documentation regarding Theme Options >> Widgets, there are multiple options given that I do not have on my end such as: section title, section bg color, bg image, section css class, hide section, and SECTION CONTENT. This is the issue, I am not sure why I am not given these options on my theme when the rest of my theme is working.
So, I updated wordpress to version 5.6.2 … Somehow, this changed the UI and gave me the updated section controls. No idea why this worked, but it did. So hopefully this helps anyone who runs into the same issue. Pain.
