Hide Primary Menu

I want to hide the primary navigation menu in the header for the Fashion Buzz theme. I’ve tried a few difference CSS codes with no success. Any ideas on how I can accomplish this?

Go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Basic Settings >> Custom CSS >> Here you need to add the below code.
.nav{display:none;}
