Gallery setup

The documentation for this theme is very unclear. I am trying to set up the gallery with images and videos. I seem to have uploaded images under portfolio that are already in media.
My videos are not showing up.
How doI get videos to show up in gallery? Where do I paste the shortcode you keep referring to?
Not a programmer, so it has to be user friendly, please. Thanks.

You need to paste the shortcode in any section.
For video in gallery please send us the site URL so we can check.

Thank you for your reply. Do I understand that I paste the video url in the gallery section, then I need to create a post in portfolio and paste the video in the post? The shortcode is in the section.

As we have checked the backend and in photolite theme you can add only images in the gallery.
