Changing colors and font size: Neurons Theme

In the Neurons theme, how do I do the following?

– Change the color of the button in the slider and in the header?
– Change the font size of the text in the slider?
– Get rid of the entry content on the homepage, but not in the slider?

I tried to make these changes in the CSS but haven’t had any luck. Thank you!

Hi

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> colors >> Here you can select color for header and use color scheme for the button.
To remove the content in the homepage go to the pages you have select as a static front page and remove title and content.

Thanks, but I’ve tried all those things. The button in the slider will not change color, nor will the main button at the top.

As for the content, if I remove it, then it won’t show up in the slider (and I want it to).

Can I solve any of these issues via the CSS?

Hello, as an update I was able to figure out the content piece. But the buttons (neither one) will change color. I am pretty positive I have the CSS correct.
