I’m trying to just post the blogs in a specific category….I have tried everything, not working?

What would be the shortcode for blog posts from a specific category?

[blogposts id=”4″ show=”3″] Not working…. I still get all blog posts from all categories

If the above is not possible can I just choose what 3 blog posts I want to show…..by id?
