    I would like to know how I can adjust the speed of the slider in the Precious Lite Theme. It changes too fast for the captions to be read and doesn’t pause on mouseover.

    For adjust the speed of the slider go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Slider Settings >> Here you can find all the settings of slider.

    Evidently that option is only available in the Pro version. So, how do I do it in the free version? I found the jquery.nivo.slider.js file, but changing the animSpeed or pauseTime doesn’t have any effect. Am I looking at the wrong setting?

    Hi

    For adjusting speed in free version open custom.js file in js folder of your theme directory where you can see the nivo slider function at the bottom where you can change the speed.
